Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système qui permettent de faire fonctionner un moteur diesel auquel on achemine une émulsion eau dans diesel, dont la proportion d'eau varie en fonction du régime du moteur et de la sollicitation auquel il est soumis. Afin de réduire davantage la proportion d'oxyde d'azote contenue dans les gaz d'échappement, des gaz d'échappement émanant dudit moteur diesel sont renvoyés dans le tuyau d'aspiration d'air du moteur diesel et le volume de gaz d'échappement ainsi renvoyé est modifié de manière régulée, proportionnellement à la proportion d'eau et/ou d'oxygène contenue dans les gaz d'échappement.
