  • a polyethylene core loaded with 50% by volume (i.e. 80% by mass) of iron particles, placed in a brass envelope gives a total mass of the bullet of ⁇ 5 g, which ensures, when it is propelled at a correct and achievable speed, good functioning of the weapons provided for this caliber.
  • This core could be easily produced by extruding a bar, cut into pieces, which are then struck in the envelope.
  • Another production method consists of injecting the amalgam of plastic material - iron directly into the envelope.
