Abstract

Le dispositif de phono-électrophorèse de l'invention comprend: un émetteur (1) d'ultrasons, un corps cylindrique creux (2) faisant office d'électrode active et dans lequel est logé un élément piézo-électrique (3) sur la surface extérieure duquel, par rapport à la surface du corps (4) du patient subissant un traitement à ultrasons, se trouve un élément protecteur (7) constitué d'un matériau conducteur d'ultrasons, un dispositif (10) destiné à créer un contact acoustique entre l'élément protecteur (7) et la surface du corps (4) du patient, un dispositif (16) destiné à réduire au minimum l'agent thérapeutique (12) introduit dans la cavité (13) formée par l'élément protecteur (7) et la surface du corps (4) du patient, ledit dispositif servant également de dispositif (10) destiné à créer un contact acoustique, ainsi qu'une électrode passive (17) placée sur le corps (4) du patient. Dans l'exemple illustré, le dispositif (16) présente une membrane semi perméable (42) et un soufflet à ressort (46).
