Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil formant presse (10) prévu pour exprimer l'eau d'une bande formée (W). Cet appareil comprend une presse de serrage (12) étendue pour retirer une quantité d'eau initiale d'une bande formée (W). Cette presse (12) se compose d'un feutre (14) pour la section de presse et d'un cylindre (16) lisse qui coopère avec le feutre de telle sorte que la bande formée (W) est placée entre le feutre (14) et le cylindre (16). On obtient une configuration telle qu'un côté (18) de la bande est en contact physique avec le cylindre (16). Un feutre de transfert (20) coopère avec le cylindre lisse de manière à assurer le transfert de la bande initialement égouttée (IDW) du cylindre lisse (16) au feutre de transfert (20). Une autre presse de serrage (22) est placée en aval par rapport au feutre de transfert. Cette autre presse (22) comprend un autre feutre de serrage (24) qui coopère avec le feutre de transfert (14) de telle sorte que la bande initialement égouttée (IDW) est transférée de ce feutre de transfert (14) à l'autre feutre (24). Un autre cylindre lisse (26) coopère avec ce dernier feutre (24) de telle sorte que la bande initialement égouttée (IDW) est placée entre le feutre (24) et le cylindre (26). On obtient une configuration telle qu'un côté opposé (28) de la bande est en contact physique avec le cylindre (26) lors du déplacement de la bande entre le feutre (24) et le cylindre (26). Ainsi, le volume de la bande obtenue (RW) est maximisé et l'on conserve une même rugosité sur le côté (18) et le côté opposé (28) de la bande obtenue (RW).
