Abstract

Dans les cas de prostatite chronique, on stimule la prostate par l'action transurétrale de paquets d'impulsions électriques, et par irradiation par laser à hélium-néon à travers le périnée, par l'action d'impulsions de lumière infrarouge avec une fréquence de récurrence égale à la fréquence du pouls du patient ou avec un multiple entier de cette dernière et synchronisée avec les paquets d'impulsions électriques, l'amplitude de ces derniers étant maintenue à un niveau provoquant des contractions dans les muscles lisses de la prostate. La combinaison de ces stimuli et le fait qu'ils correspondent aux processus corporels internes propres au patient augmente l'effet de résonance synergique du traitement. Les impulsions électriques sont envoyées par l'intermédiaire d'une électrode à plaque (7) placée au-dessous du sacrum du patient et par un cathéter électrode (8), la lumière laser étant conduite par un guide optique monofibre (10) inséré dans le canal du cathéter-électrode (8). Des émetteurs de lumière infrarouge à semi-conducteurs (14, 15) déclenchés par des conformateurs d'impulsions (16, 17) sont placés dans la zone du périnée. Ces deux conformateurs d'impulsions et le conformateur de paquets d'impulsions électriques (3) sont connectés aux sorties (30, 31) de l'unité de commande et de synchronisation (25), laquelle est connectée à des dispositifs (22, 23) servant à mesurer le pouls du patient et la contraction des muscles prostatiques lisses. Les signaux envoyés par ces derniers sont utilisés pour ajuster l'amplitude des impulsions électriques entrant dans le conformateur de paquets (3) depuis la sortie du générateur principal (2).
