Abstract

Compositions de résine peu contractibles présentant un poli de surface amélioré, qui servent pour le moulage par compression ou par injection ou le moulage par compression-injection d'articles utilitaires. Dans un aspect de la présente invention, une composition améliorée de moulage de feuilles comporte un système de résine comprenant (a) un polyester insaturé qui contient un produit de poly-condensation d'un ou plusieurs alcools dihydriques ou polyhydriques et un ou plusieurs acides carboxyliques éthyléniquement insaturés et un ou plusieurs acides polycarboxyliques; (b) un ou plusieurs additifs réduisant la contractibilité comprenant des polymères thermoplastiques; (c) un ou plusieurs monomères oléfiniquement insaturés qui se copolymérisent avec le polyester insaturé et (d) un ou plusieurs additifs ayant à la fois des liaisons aliphatiquement insaturées et des groupes époxy-fonctionnels ou des groupes fonctionnels polaires. En outre, ledit système est complété par l'ajout d'un catalyseur, d'une charge, de fibre de verre et d'un agent de démoulage. Ledit système résineux confère un poli amélioré des surfaces et des énergies superficielles plus élevées qui entraînent une meilleure adhésion aux revêtements de surface.
