Abstract

L'invention concerne des mélanges d'un polymère luminescent dans une matrice de polymère transporteur de lacunes, ces mélanges servant de couches actives (14) dans les diodes électroluminescentes (10). L'utilisation de mélanges de polymères permet de réduire la quantité employée de polymères luminescents, qui sont coûteux, d'obtenir une plus grande efficacité et de provoquer des changements de longueur d'onde de la lumière émise, par rapport aux couches actives à base d'homopolymères. Grâce à ces changements concernant la couleur, celle-ci peut être réglée et il est possible d'obtenir des diodes électroluminescentes bleues à haute efficacité. Des méthodes concernant la constitution de ces mélanges et leur utilisation dans des diodes électroluminescentes (10) sont également exposées.
