  • Drilling fluids are supplied to the milling tool from a supply 130 (again shown schematically), and the swarf from the milling operation is floated to the surface. To allow the drilling fluid to be reused, the swarf must be removed from the fluid, and so it is passed to apparatus 132 as described with reference to the earlier figures.

Abstract

Procédé d'élimination des limailles présentes dans des fluides de forage utilisé dans un processus dans lequel on perce une fenêtre dans le côté d'un puits. Dans ce procédé on utilise un appareil se présentant sous forme d'un tambour perforé rotatif, et de préférence sous forme de deux tambours perforés rotatifs qui se logent l'un dans l'autre. Cet appareil est également décrit.
