Description
PROCÉDÉ POUR BOISER UNE PIÈCE ET ÉLÉMENTS POUR LA MISE EN OEUVRE DUDIT PROCÉDÉ. METHOD FOR WOODING A PIECE AND ELEMENTS FOR CARRYING OUT SAID METHOD.
The present invention relates to a method for woodworking a room. There are known in the state of the art artisanal processes for the manufacture and installation of woodwork. These processes are the result of traditional cabinetmaking techniques, which are hardly compatible with the industrialization of manufacturing means. In addition, the installation of woodwork requires the intervention of highly qualified workers because it involves a lot of cabinet work on the installation site. The duration of the work is relatively long, and the installation of a woodwork according to the processes of the state of the art prohibits access to the room during work as well as to neighboring rooms for several days.
The aim of the present invention is to remedy these drawbacks and to propose a process for afforestation of a part compatible with the industrialization of most of the stages, so as to limit the duration of interventions on sites, and to allow installation by moderately qualified people.
The method according to the invention consists in producing, in a first step, a set of elements whose dimensions are standardized independently of the dimensions of the walls to be afforested, said standardized elements comprising:
- des panneaux de boiserie présentant sur leurs chants une rainure de section constante ;- woodwork panels with a constant section groove on their edges;
les chants des panneaux de boiserie pour le raccordement par embrèvement ;- connecting pieces having on two opposite edges rabbets of complementary section to the section of the grooves provided on the edges of the woodwork panels for the connection by stepping;
- des sabots de plinthe présentant sur l'un de leur chant un moyen pour coopérer avec les rainures prévues sur les chants des panneaux de boiserie ;- plinth shoes having on one of their edges a means for cooperating with the grooves provided on the edges of the woodwork panels;
- des éléments d'ajustage constitués par des plaques dont l'épaisseur correspond à la largeur des rainures prévues sur les chants des panneaux de boiserie ;- adjustment elements consisting of plates whose thickness corresponds to the width of the grooves provided on the edges of the woodwork panels;
This first stage can be fully industrialized without this resulting in a deficiency in the quality or the final appearance of the woodwork. The second step consists in assembling standardized elements to make a panel whose dimensions are smaller than the dimensions of the wall to be coated. The third step is to cut the adjustment elements to make connecting pieces whose dimensions correspond to the difference between the dimensions of the panel obtained by assembling the standardized elements and the dimensions of the wall to be coated.
This step can be carried out with portable tools by unskilled personnel, since it essentially consists of sawing along straight lines flat plates or cutting tabs. The woodwork produced according to the invention also has the advantage of being able to be easily dismantled and reassembled in another location, even if the new destination part has totally different dimensions. This possibility is particularly advantageous for the decoration of professional offices, which may be subject to relocation due to the development of the company or cabinet for the professions of liberal practice.
According to a preferred embodiment, at least some of the assembled elements are secured to the corresponding wall by screws having at one of its ends a thread suitable for cooperating with an anchoring means in a wall, and the other end has a clean thread to be screwed into the wood, the two threads having an identical pitch, and in that the cylindrical hole made to place the screw is closed by a cylindrical plug. This cylindrical plug is made of the same wood as that of the panels, and has wires aligned in the same plane as those of the panel.
This embodiment makes it possible to set up the woodwork by reserving an intermediate space for ventilation without the need for masonry work. The invention also relates to panels for implementing the method, having grooved edges of dimensions kN and kM, k being a decimal number and N and M being whole numbers less than or equal to 6. This variant makes it possible to produce, with a limited number of types of standardized panels, a wide variety of woodwork decorations, and respecting an overall aesthetic.
The invention also relates to a plinth shoe formed by a plinth having on the upper edge a groove of section identical to the section provided on the edges of the woodwork panels and the thickness of which is substantially identical to the thickness of the edge of the panels. of woodwork, and by plinths higher than the height of the hooves.
This plinth shoe allows positioning of the lower woodwork panels. the invention also relates to connecting tongues whose thickness corresponds to the width of the grooves and whose height is substantially equal to twice the depth of the grooves provided on the edges of the woodwork panels.
The invention also relates to picture rails, cornices and astragals having two parallel rebates capable of cooperating with the edges of the woodwork panels. The invention will be better understood on reading the description which follows, referring to the accompanying drawings in which:

- la figure 3 représente une vue en coupe horizontale d'un assemblage de boiserie selon l'invention ;- Figure 3 shows a horizontal sectional view of a woodwork assembly according to the invention;
- les figures 5 à 8 représentent des éléments pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé ; les figures 9 à 14 représentent différentes combinaisons de panneaux de boiserie; Les figures 1 et 2 représentent des vues respectivement en perspective et de face d'un assemblage selon l'invention.- Figures 5 to 8 show elements for the implementation of the method; Figures 9 to 14 show different combinations of woodwork panels; Figures 1 and 2 show respectively perspective and front views of an assembly according to the invention.
The assembly consists of two rectangular woodwork panels (1, 2) produced in a known manner by assembling a central panel and an external frame. The woodwork panels (1, 2) have moldings and decorative patterns. The edges of the woodwork panels (1, 2) have grooves respectively (3, 4) whose width corresponds substantially to one third of the width of the edge.
The connection of the wood panel (1) and the plinth shoe (5) is made with a false tongue (7) whose width corresponds to the width of the grooves (3, 4, 6) provided on the panels (1, 2 ) and on the plinths. The height of the false tongues (7) is approximately equal to twice the depth of the grooves (3, 4, 6), so as to allow a connection to live joints, edge to edge. A plinth (8) covers the plinth shoe (5) and hides the joint between the lower wood panel (2) and the plinth shoe (5).
The upper wood panel (1) and the lower wood panel (2) are joined by a picture rail (9) having a section complementary to the edge of the panels (1, 2). An awning formed by a strip of the same width as the panels, and having on two opposite edges a rebate, makes it possible to enhance two adjacent elements.
The upper panel (1) is also connected to a picture rail (10) having on the lower edge a groove (11) of dimension identical to the dimension of the grooves (3, 4, 6). The connection between the upper panel (1) and the picture rail (10) is effected by means of a connecting piece (12), constituted by a plywood plate cut to the time of assembly of the woodwork on the final site.
The panels (13, 14) cooperate laterally with a molded upright (15) and a corner strip (16) having grooves (17 to
The woodwork assembly is fixed to the wall by means of screws (25 to 27) having at one end (28) a thread for anchoring in the wood, and at the other end (29) a second thread of the same pitch, but of slightly smaller diameter, for anchoring in the wall via a dowel for example.
