Abstract

The door has two vertical uprights (1,1') joined by cross pieces (2,3). Each upright has two grooves along the inside edges which are symmetrical. The cross pieces are thinner than the uprights so that the interchangeable decorative panels (4) can be inserted over them. There are two circular holes (6,6') in the lower cross piece for the insertion of supporting components (5,5') to hold the decorative panels in place. In the upper cross piece there are oblong holes (14,14') for the supporting components (15,15'). On the back of the decorative panels at the bottom and the top there are countersunk holes (7,7',8,8') for the supporting components. The interchangeable panels may be made in a single piece or of several sections. The panels have tongues along the sides which fit into the grooves in the uprights.
