Description

Innerhalb eines Kommunikationsendgerätes angeordneter Tonruf- wandler Ringing transducer arranged within a communication terminal
The present invention includes a ringer arranged within a communication terminal consisting of two housing parts. The attachment of a ringer within a communication terminal has been done so far. B. in that the ringer was plugged with its connections directly onto a circuit board and soldered to the connection points on the circuit board. Since a ringing transducer requires a relatively large amount of space on the circuit board due to its dimensions, this space below the ringing transducer on the circuit board was no longer available for inserting other electrical or electronic components.
Furthermore, it is known to screw or lock the ringer to one of the housing parts. With this type of attachment, the ringer was no longer part of an assembly housed on a printed circuit board, but detached from this assembly and only connected with its connections to the assembly or the printed circuit board.
Since the most efficient production possible is always pursued in mass-produced products, efforts are made to integrate the ringer into a module housed on a circuit board, the space below the ringer converter on the circuit board should be usable for further components.
The present invention is therefore based on the object of fastening a ringing transducer in the correct position within a communication terminal so that the assembly effort can be kept as low as possible. This object is achieved in that the ringer is positively connected to a separate holder, this holder and at least one of the housing parts being designed in such a way that the holder is clamped and held centered between the two housing parts.
Such a type of fastening enables problem-free and simple assembly of the ringing transducer within the communication terminal, since in this case only the ringing transducer has to be installed in the separate holder, after which the holder holding the ringing transducer due to its design and at least one of the Housing parts clamped between the housing parts and kept centered. No additional aids in the form of screws or clips are required for this, so that this assembly step can be omitted.
According to a preferred embodiment, the separate holder can be designed as an annular body and partially enclose the ringer with a raised edge region, furthermore latching hooks are provided on the holder which reach through openings arranged in webs on the ringer, and furthermore the holder Its ring surface facing away from the latching hook has a plurality of spacers and, in the base region, has a plurality of spring tabs projecting into the interior of the body, against which the inserted ringer transducer comes to rest.
The ringing transducer can thus be connected to the holder in a simple manner by means of a snap-in connection, the ringing transducer coming into contact with one of its surfaces on the resilient spring tab. Furthermore, on its ring surface opposite the latching hook, the holder has a plurality of spacers which permit its spaced fastening on a printed circuit board which has assemblies, so that those located below the ringing transducer or the holder The surface on the circuit board remains free and can be used to apply further electrical or electronic components.
The latching hooks can be provided within cutouts arranged in the edge region of the holder and can run parallel to the edge region. The cutouts serve to accommodate the webs provided on the ringer and containing the openings.
Furthermore, in the end regions of the spacers, clamping domes can be provided which have ribs arranged on their circumference and running in their longitudinal direction, the clamping domes being insertable into bores in a printed circuit board. The diameter of the clamping domes provided with the ribs is somewhat larger than the inside width of the bores provided in the printed circuit board, so that when the clamping domes are inserted into the bores there is a slight deformation of the ribs and an interference fit of the holder on the printed circuit board is achieved . A final fixing of the holder receiving the tone call transducer in the communication terminal is achieved in that one housing part serves to receive the circuit board with the attached and held tone call transducer, while the other housing part in the assembled state of the communication terminal is in the line of alignment with the ringing transducer located in the holder, which is in the form of a ring and approximately corresponds to the diameter of the ringing transducer and has a plurality of stop ribs in its interior. In the assembled state of the two housing parts, the ringing transducer is centered by the annular receptacle provided on the housing part and encompassing the ringing transducer on the outside. In its interior, this receptacle has a plurality of stop ribs which come to rest on the surface of the ringing transducer facing away from the spring tab. The spring tabs on the holder are slightly deformed and the locking connection between the ringing transducer and the holder is relieved, so that slight tolerances in the manufacture of the housing parts or the holder can be compensated in a simple manner. The holder is thus held in the correct position between the circuit board with which it is clamped via the clamping domes of its spacers and the ring-shaped receptacle on the other housing part, which presses on the ringing transducer with the stop ribs, without additional fastening parts being required.
The invention will be explained in more detail below on the basis of an exemplary embodiment.

Ferner besitzt der Halter 1 im Basisbereich 3 in dem Innenraum des ringförmigen Körpers hineinragende Fe¬ derlappen 6.FIG. 7 shows a housing part serving to fix the ringer in a perspective view rotated by 180 °. The holder 1 shown in the figures is used to hold the ringing transducer 2 and is essentially ring-shaped. Its raised edge area 3 has two mutually opposite cutouts 4. Within these cutouts 4 there is in each case a latching hook 5 running parallel to the edge region 3, which is connected in one piece to the holder 1. Furthermore, the holder 1 in the base region 3 has spring tabs 6 projecting into the interior of the annular body.
As FIG. 2 shows, three spacers 7 are integrally connected to the holder 1 on the underside of the ring-shaped body. Two of these spacers 7 have clamping domes 8 in their free end area, the purpose of which will be discussed later. As can be seen in FIG. 3, these clamping domes are provided with a plurality of ribs 9 of triangular cross-section on their circumference, the ribs running in their longitudinal direction.
In diesem Zustand liegen die Federlappen 6 unter leichter Vorspannung an dem in der Bild¬ ebene unten befindlichen Bodenbereich des Tonrufwandlers 2 an.FIG. 4 shows the ringer 2 before it is inserted into the holder 1. The direction of insertion is indicated by the arrow A. To lock it in the holder 1, the ringer 2 has two opposite and 'integrally connected to it webs 10 which are provided with openings 11. When the ringer is inserted into the holder, the latching hooks 5 on the holder 1 engage these openings 11 on the ringer. In this state, the spring tabs 6 bear against the bottom area of the ringing transducer 2, which is located at the bottom in the image plane, with a slight prestress.
Der dritte keinen Klemmdom aufweisende Ab¬ standshalter 7 liegt dabei mit seinem freien Endbereich auf der Oberfläche der Leiterplatte 12 auf.FIG. 5 shows the attachment of the ringer 2 inserted into the holder 1 on a printed circuit board 12. Since this circuit board 12 used in a telephone set has an assembly 13 in the edge region of which the ringer must be accommodated for reasons of space, 2 spacers 7 are arranged on the ringer. net, each of such a length that the Ton¬ call transducer 2 with a part of its surface slightly overhangs the edge area of the assembly or comes to rest on it. To fix the holder 1 with the ringing transducer 2 on the printed circuit board 12, the latter has two bores 14 into which the clamping domes 8 of the spacers 7 of the holder 1 are pressed. The ribs 9 formed on the clamping domes 8 deform slightly, so that a secure press fit of the respective clamping domes 8 within the bore 14 is ensured. The third spacer 7, which does not have a clamping dome, lies with its free end region on the surface of the printed circuit board 12.
In Figures 6 and 7, the final position securing of the holder with the ringer between the housing parts 15 and 16 of a telephone set, for. B. a cordless phone is shown. The housing part 15 receives the printed circuit board 12 with the holder 1, while the housing part 16 is placed on the housing part 15 and connected to it.
FIG. 7 shows the housing part 16 in a position rotated by 180 °. This housing part 16 has an annular receptacle 17 which is in alignment with the holder 1 and the inserted ringer 2 in the assembled state of the telephone set and which has at least two stop ribs arranged in its inner region. When the two housing parts 15 and 16 are in the assembled state, the stop ribs press on the surface of the ringing transducer 2 located above in the picture plane. As a result, the spring lugs 6 on the holder give in again, so that the latching hooks of the holder 1 are relieved. Due to the chamfer 19 of the surface of the ringing transducer lying at the top in the image plane, it is securely guided and centered within the annular receptacle on the housing part 16.
