Abstract

L'invention concerne la forme d'un récipient destiné à contenir des gaz sous haute pression. La forme décrite est celle d'un ellipsoïde ou d'un ovoïde allongé. Elle permet de réaliser des récipients moins encombrants, plus légers et moins onéreux que ceux utilisés actuellement. Deux fonds emboutis identiques (1, 2), à méridienne de révolution elliptique ou ovale et soudés bout à bout par leur grand cercle, constituent l'enveloppe du récipient proprement dit. Celui-ci peut être utilisé: jusqu'à 6000 litres : grand-axe vertical, entre 6000 et 12000 litres : grand-axe horizontal. L'invention est d'autant plus intéressante que la pression du gaz est plus élevée, les sujétions d'encombrement plus sévères et les matériaux constitutifs plus onéreux.

Description

RECIPIENT POUR GAZ COMPRIMES OU LIQUEFIES
SOUS HAUTE PRESSION
La présente invention se rapporte à un récipient sous pression d'une contenance maximale de 12 000 litres et destiné au stockage, au transport et à l'utilisation des gaz comprimés ou liquéfiés sous haute pression (plus grande que 30 bar). La paroi extérieure de ce récipient en tôle de métal ferreux ou non ferreux, a la forme d'un solide de révolution engendré par la rotation d'une demi-courbe autour de son grand axe.
Le dessin annexé à la présente demande comprend trois figures : Fιg.1 : l'embouti avec la courbe de la méridienne de révolution,
Fιg.2 : le récipient ellipsoïdal dans la position d'utilisation grand axe vertical, pour les contenances en dessous de 6 000 litres, Fιg.3 : le récipient ellipsoïdal dans la position d'utilisation grand axe horizontal, pour les contenances comprises entre 6 000 et 12 000 litres.
Antérieurement, la profession se servait :
- Soit de bouteilles à fût cylindrique, forgées d'une seule pièce, groupées dans des cadres rigides, - Soit de sphères composées de deux hémisphères identiques assemblées par une soudure équatoπale : l'hémisphère inférieur est pourvu d'un pied de stabilité ; l'hémisphère supérieur supporte la robinetterie et le chapeau protecteur.
On rappelle que ces récipients sont des récipients à méridienne de révolution. La génératrice est une droite pour une bouteille cylindrique, et une demi-circonférence pour une sphère.
Le récipient décrit ci-dessous est moins encombrant, plus léger et moins onéreux que les sphères ou les bouteilles utilisées antérieurement. II est constitué par deux fonds emboutis identiques (1 et 2, Fιg.2 et Fιg.3) soudés bout à bout par leur grand cercle.
C'est un ellipsoïde ou un ovoïde allongé, caractérisé par Taxe de révolution de la méridienne elliptique ou ovale qui est obligatoirement le grand-axe. Ces deux courbes étant très voisines, le texte ci-dessous s'applique aussi bien à l'ovoïde qu'à l'ellipsoïde ; mais nous n'emploierons que le mot el lipsoïde.
La stabilité en position verticale (Fig.2) est assurée par un pied (3.) constitué d'une couronne circulaire du même diamètre extérieur que le diamètre de révolution de l'ellipsoïde et raccordé au fond inférieur (2) par quatre montants de forte section, soudés sur la coquille (2).
En haut de l'embouti supérieur (1), se trouve la robinetterie, boulonnée sur une bride à lèvre soudée bout à bout à la paroi.
Un chapeau (Fig.2 et Fig.3, 4) protège cette robinetterie(5 ) .
Lorsque la capacité est inférieure à 6 000 litres, la construction du récipient est prévue pour une utilisation grand-axe vertical.
Lorsque la capacité est comprise entre 6 000 et 12 000 litres, et que le diamètre de révolution ne peut être augmenté, la stabilité n'est plus assurée grand axe vertical.
Dans ce cas, la construction du récipient est prévue pour une utilisation grand-axe horizontal (Fig.3).
L'invention est susceptible d'un développement industriel en raison de sa simplicité, du gain de place, du gain de poids, et de l'économie qu'elle apporte dans la fabrication des récipients sous haute pression.

Claims

REVENDICATIONS
1 - Récipient, pour gaz comprimés ou liquéfiés sous haute pression, caractérisé en ce qu'il est constitué de deux fonds emboutis identiques, chacun en forme de demi-ellipsoïde ou de demi-ovoïde allongé dont Taxe de révolution est le grand axe, soudés bout à bout par leur grand cercle.
2 - Récipient selon la revendication 1 caractérisé en ce que le fond inférieur (2) est supporté par un pied (3) constitué d'une couronne circulaire de même diamètre extérieur que le diamètre de révolution de l'ellipsoïde ou de Tovoide et raccordé à ce dernier par quatre montants de forte section et soudé.
3 - Récipient, selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérise en ce que le fond embouti supérieur (1) comprend la robinetterie (5) boulonnée sur une bride à lèvre soudée bout à bout à la paroi dudit fond embouti supérieur et protégée par un chapeau (4).
4 - Récipient, selon l 'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé par l'orientation verticale du grand-axe pour le transport et l'utilisation lorsque la capacité est inférieure à 6 000 litres.
5 - Récipient, selon Tune quelconque des revendications 1,2 et 3 précédentes, caractérisé par l'orientation horizontale du grand-axe pour le transport et l'utilisation lorsque la capacité est comprise entre 6 000 et 12 000 litres.
