A device for monitoring the air pressure in the tyres of vehicle wheels relates to the transport industry and, in particular, to devices for monitoring a drop in air pressure in the pneumatic tyres of the wheels of a moving automobile. The device for monitoring the air pressure in the tyres of the wheels of a vehicle comprises two induction transducers (1, 2) in the form of permanent magnets (3, 4) capable of being mounted on the corresponding wheels, and induction coils (5, 6) capable of being mounted on the stable part of the vehicle and interacting with the corresponding magnets, as well as a unit (8) for signal processing and indicating comprising two information light-emitting diodes (9, 10), a blocking diode (11), an indicating light-emitting diode (12) and a shunting resistor (13). An air pressure change in the tyres of the wheels results in changes of their radii and corresponding changes in their rotation frequencies.
