Abstract
This invention relates to space structures, in particular grids, which are used as roof or floor load bearing structures in industrial buildings and public houses and it relies on that the system is made from the set of planar, prefabricated elements in the form of triangular (1) and square frame units (2) and also square units with additional diagonal member, which are interconnected at the corners by means of dismantable or permanent connections and, those units, assembled together, compose a double layer grid with one layer having an orthogonal configuration of chords in relation to support lines or they compose a double layer grid with doubled depth and the same either diagonal or orthogonal configuration of both layers, as well as they compose a triple layer grid using square units with diagonal member.
Description
SYSTEM OF SPACE STRUCTURES IN PARTICULAR GRIDS
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
This invention relates to space structures, in particular grids,which are used as roof or floor load bearing structures in industrial buildings and public houses.
There are known numerous structural solutions of space grids used as roof or floor load bearing structures in buildings.One of them is the system, wherein components are separate bars, tubular members or other shapes, assembled using special nodes like for example those described in Federal Republic of Germany patents No 2711407 or No 3001309 .
Besides there are other systems composed of prefabricated pyramids like for example system described in Poland patent No 110694, wherein the structure is composed of tetrahedron with orthogonal, including a vertical one, bars in a node and the other subsequent units based on the same module, each having three noncomplanar bars in nodes which are spherical hinges.
SUM MARY OF THE INVENTION
This invention relates to the space frame system made from the set of planar, prefabricated elements in the form of triangular and square frame units and also square units with additional diagonal member, which are interconnected at the corners by means of dismantable or permanent connections and which , those units , assembled together, compose a double layer grid with one layer having a diagonal configuration and another one having an orthogonal configuration of chords, in relation to support lines, or they compose a double layer grid with doubled depth and the same either diagonal or orthogonal configuration of both layers, as well as they compose a triple layer grid using square units with diagonal member.
The object of this invention is to provide a more economical solution of space structures, in particular grids, which are free of some disadvantages typical for systems based on spatial units and /or linear components.
This object and other features and advantages of this invention will become readilly apparent upon reference to the following desription, when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
FIG.1 is a top plan view of the space frame system fragment.
FIG.2 up to FIG.4 are cross sectional views taken along the line A - A of FIG.1 showing double layer grid, double layer grid with doubled depth and triple layer grid succesively.
FIG.5 is a top plan view of the space frame system fragment showing another construction variant.
FIG.6 up to FIG.8 are cross sectional views taken along the line B - B of FIG.5 , respectively for double layer grid, double layer grid with doubled depth and triple layer grid.
DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENT
Refering to the drawings, particulary FIG.1 and FIG.5, the system of space structures according to the
invention is made from the set of planar prefabricated elements in the form of triangular /1/ and square frame units /2/ and also square units with additional diagonal member /3/ ,which are interconnected at the corners by means of dismantable or permanent connections.
Two construction variants of the space grid /FIG.1 and FIG.5/ have frame units /S/ which accordingly to the cross section, can be units /1/,units /2/ or units /3/.
In the case of double layer grid/FIG.2 and.FIG.6/ , triangular /1/ and square frame units /2/ are used, and in the case of double layer grid with doubled depth /FIG.3 and FIG.7 / only square frame units are used, whereas in the case of triple layer grid/FIG.4 and FIG.8/ square frame units/2/ and square frame units with diagonal /3/ are used.
The examples shown on the drawings are not the only ones and other modifications and arrangements can be made without departing from the invention as defined in the appended claim.

CLAIM
System of space structure, in particular grids, to be applied as roof or floor load bearing structures in industrial buildings and public houses,using solid bars,hollow sections or other shapes, is characteristic by that the system is made from the set of planar, prefabricated elements in the form of triangular /1/ and square frame units /2/ and also square units with additional diagonal member /3/ , which are interconnected at the corners by means of dismantable or permanent connections and which, those units, assembled together, compose a double layer grid with one layer having a diagonal configuration and another one having an orthogonal configuration of chords in relation to support lines,. or they compose a double layer grid, with doubled depth and the same either diagonal or orthogonal configuration of both layers, as well as they compose a triple layer grid using square units with diagonal member /3/ .
