Abstract

A towel hanger for use in a bathroom (13) is disclosed, and the hanger includes a pair of attaching plates (2, 2a) and a pair of hanging rods (6, 6a). The attaching plates are integrally provided with a pair of reinforcing members (3, 3a) and a pair of connecting members (4, 4a), and the hanging rods are connected to the connecting members. Further, a connecting tube (7) is provided in order to connect the hanging rods to a usual radiator (11), and the hollow spaces (5) of the hanging rods are communicated with the radiator, while the hanging rods are provided with a plurality of discharge holes (8) on the circumferential surfaces thereof. Thus, the steam (9) from the radiator is guided into the hollow spaces of the hanging rods and is jetted out through the plurality of the discharge holes in order to speedily dry up the towel (10) hung on the hanging rods. The adoption of the present invention makes it possible to use hygienically clean towels always in the bathroom.

Description

Description Title of the invention TOWEL HANGER FOR USE IN BATH ROOM Field of the invention The present invention relates to a towel hanger for use in a bath room and for use in winter seasons, and particularly to a towel hanger which is connected to the radiator disposed within the bath room, so that the hot steam passing through the towel hanger and jetting out of it should effectively dry up the towel before the towel generates a bad odor. Background of the invention
Conventionally, there are many kinds of towel hangers, and one of them is constituted such that a hook or a rod is attached on the wall of the bath room by means of adhesive plates.
However, if the towel which is wet after a bathing of a person is left hung on the hanger in the wet state, the towel produces a foul odor before long, with the result that it becomes impossible to reuse the towel, and that otner hygienically adverse effects are generated. In the past, however, it was ambiguously hoped that, if the towel is left hung on the hanger in the bath room where the room air has a high humidity and low ventilation, the towel should be naturally dried up, but in actual, the drying was alway incomplete and the foul odor was surely generated. Summary of the invention The present invention is intended to overcome the above described disadvantages of the conventional devices. Therefore it is the object of the present invention to provide a towel hanger which operationally connected to the radiator of the bath room, in such a manner that the steam passing through the towel hanger and jetting out of it should speedily dry up the towel, before the towel produces any foul odor. Brief description of the drawings The above object and other advantages of the present invention will become more apparent by describing in detail the preferred embodiment of the present invention with reference to the attached drawings in which: Figure 1 is a perspective view of the device according to the present invention;
Figure 2 is a sectional view taken along the line A-A of F gure 1 ;
Figure 3 is an enlarged sectional view of the circled portion of Figure 2; and Figure 4 illustrates a using state of the device of the present invention.
Description of the preferred embodiment
As shown in Figures 1 and 2, reinforcing members 3,3a and connecting members 4,4a are unitizingly provided on a pair of attaching plates 2,2a which are attached on a wall surface 1 of a bath room. A pair of hanging rods 6,6a are fitted to parallel the connecting members 4,4a, in such a manner that the hollow spaces of the hanging rods 6,6a should be connected to hollow spaces 5 of the connecting members 4,4a, and that the incoming steam should pass through the hollow spaces before it is discharged through discharge holes 8. In the drawings, reference code 10 indicates a towel, 11 a radiator, 13 a bath room, and 14 a bolt.
In the towel hanger of the present invention constituted as described above, if the hanger is to be installed, the attaching plates 2,2a are closely attached onto the wall surface 1 of the bath room in a state with the hanging rods 6,6a securely connected to the connecting members 4,4a, and then, fastenings of the attaching plates are carried out by means of bolts 14, thereby completing the installing of the towel hanger.
Further, the attaching plates 2,2a can be attached also by providing an adhesive layer on the back sides of the attaching plates, so that the attaching plates can be easily attached onto the wall surface of the bath room. This fastening method can be provided in addition to the bolt fastening method, so that the installing person should be able to use them selectively.
In a state with the towel hanger attached onto the wall surface 1 of the bath room, the connecting member 4a of the towel hanger is connected through a connecting tube 7 to the radiator 11, so that the steam circulating through the radiator 11 should be also introduced into the hanging rods 6,6a, under the condition that the radiator 11 is properly adjusted to keep the temperature of the bath room at a proper level. That is, a wet towel is not easily dried up even under a proper temperature and ventilation, and therefore, the steam 9 is directly jettted out from the hanging rods in order to speedily dry up the towel before it generates a foul odor. For this purpose, there are formed a plurality of steam discharge holes 8 on the circumferential surfaces of the hanging rods 6,6a, and the space 5 of the connecting members 4,4a, is connected to the connecting tube 7. Therefore, in a state with a wet towel 10 hung on the hanging rods 6,6a after a face wash or a bathing as shown in figure 4, the steam 9 is sent from the radiator 11 through the connecting tube 7 into the hanging rods 6,6a, so that the steam should pass through the connecting tube 7 and the space 5 of the connecting member 4a before it is introduced into the hanging rods 6,6a.
The steam 9 which passes through the paths as described above is jetted out through the discharge holes of the hanging rods 6,6a, and therefore, the wet towel hung on the hanging rods is extremely speedily dried. As a result, the generation of a foul odor can be prevented, a hygienically clean towel can always be used, and the contamination of the bath room by pathogenic micro¬ organisms can also be prevented. According to the present invention as described above, the attachment of the device can be done in a simple manner, and the wet towel can be speedily dried up by means of a steam-jett ng, with the result that hygienically clean towels can always, be used, " as well as preventing infections. Further, disorders will rarely occur owing to the structural simpleness of the device, and the drying speed of the towel is naturally automatically adjusted owing to the adjusted state of the radiator.
