Abstract

A towel hanger for use in a bathroom is disclosed, and the hanger includes a pair of attaching plates (4, 4a), a plurality of hanging rods (6, 6a), heating wires (7), and a blowing fan (10). The attaching plates (4, 4a) are provided with a pair of adjusting members (1, 1a) and a pair of connecting members (2, 2a) in an integral form. The hanging rods are provided with a plurality of discharge holes (5), secured between the connecting members of the attaching plates, and accommodates heating wires. The heating wires radiate heat and the blowing fan blows out hot air through the discharge holes of the hanging rods in order to speed up the drying of the towels (14). Therefore, wet towels hung on the towel hanger of the present invention after a face wash or a bathing can be speedily dried up, thereby excluding the possibility of malodoring of the towels, and maintaining a hygienic condition of the bathroom.

Description

Description Title of the invention TOWEL HANGER FOR USE IN BATH ROOM Field of the invention The present invention relates to a towel hanger for use in a bath room, in which a wet towel after a face wash or a bathing can be speedily dried up by means of a heating wire and a blowing fan within a humid and ill-ventilated bath room, thereby making it possible to always use y ienically clean malodorless towels. Background of the invention
Conventionally, towel hangers are provided in the form of a hanging rod fixed to a supporting means, and therefore, a bath room which is humid and is not well-ventilated do not allow the towel to be speedily dried up, but the towel is left wet all the time, with the result that the towel produces a foul odor before long. In spite of such an undesirable result, people leave the towels in the humid atmosphere until the towels produce a foul odor. Therefore, such a malodorant towel can not be used again, and if it is used again, it gives an impression of uncleanness, as well as bringing a hygienically undesirable effect. Summary of the invention The present invention is intended to overcome the above described disadvantages of the conventional devices. Therefore it is the object of the present invention to provide a towel hanger_ in which heating wires are installed within the hanging rods, and hot air is discharged through discharge holes, so that the towel hung on the hanging rods should be speedily dried up. Brief description of the drawings The above object and other advantages of the present invention will become more apparent by describing in detail the preferred embodiment of the present invention with reference to the attached drawings in which: Figure 1 is a perspective view of the device according to the present invention;
Figure 2 is a sectional view taken along the line A-A of Figure 1 ;
Figure 3 is an enlarged illustration of the circled portion of Figure 2; Figure 4 illustrates a using state of the device of the present invention; and
Figure 5 is a plan view of another embodiment of the present invention. Description of the preferred embodiment As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the towel hanger according to the present invention includes: a pair of attaching plates 4,4a provided with adjusting members 1,1a and connecting members 2,2a, and also provided with hollow spaces 3 in the interiors thereof; a pair of hanging rods 6,6a fixed to the connecting mebmers 2,2a, and provided with a plurality of discharge holes 5; heating wires 7 installed within the hollow spaces of the hanging rods 6,6a, and connected to an electric wire 8; and a blowing fan 10 installed within the hollow space 3, and connected to an adjusting switch 9 which is attached to a side of the adjusting member 1. The hanging rods of the present invention is not limited to the above mentioned pair, but includes a plurality of them, i.e., the hanging rods 6c,6d,6e. In the drawings, reference code 11 indicates a bolt, 12 a both room, 13 a wall of the bath room, and 14 a towel .
The device of the present invention constituted as above is assembled as described below. That is, the heating wires 7 are inserted into the hanging rods 6,6a, and the hanging rods 6,6a in this state are secured to the connecting members 2,2a of the attaching plates 4,4a, in a state with the adjusting members 1,1a and the connecting members 2,2a integrally provided on the attaching plates 4,4a. Then the electric wire 8 is connected to the heating wires 7, and the electric wire 8 is let to be extended through the hollow space 3 of the attaching plates 4,4a, while, also within the hollow space 3, the blowing fan 10 is installed so as for it not to be interfered with the electric wire 8. Then, the blowing fan 10 is connected with the adjusting switch 9 which is attached onto the connecting member 2, and then, the pair of the attaching plates 4,4a are attached onto the wall surface 13 of the bath room by means of bolts 11.
Then as shown in Figure 4, if towels 14 are hung on the the hanging rods 6,6a, 6c,6d,6e after a face wash or a bathing, and if the adjusting switch 9 is turned on, then the heating wires 7 will begin- to radiate heat to promote the drying of the towels.
At the same' time, the blowing fan 10 is activated to blow air through the hollow space 3 into the nteriors of the hanging rods 6,6a, 6c,6d,6e, with the result that hot air is discharged through the discharge holes 5 of the hanging rods.
That is, according to the present embodiment, the hot air will be discharged through the discharge holes 5 of the hanging rods 6,6a, and the hot air will not only dry up the towels, but also dry out the surrounding place. Therefore, the towels hung on the towel hanger of the present invention after a face wash or a bathing will be speedily dried up, with the result that the hygienically adverse condition due to the unclean malodorant towels will be removed, and clean towels can always be used. That is, the heat radiated from the heating wires 7 of the hanging rods 6,6a is not only large enough to dry up the towels, but also the hot air blown by the blowing fan 10 further promotes the drying of the towels, thereby shortening the drying time.
According to the present invention as described above, wet towels hung on the towel hanger of the presnt invention after a face wash or a bathing are speedily dried up owing to the functions of the heating wires 7 and the blowing fan 10, and therefore, hygienically clean and malodorless towels can always be used even in humid and ill-ventilated bath rooms.
