Abstract

On produit un corps creux comportant une paroi interne (10) et une paroi externe (11) à l'aide du rotomoulage d'une matière à mouler, par exemple une matière thermoplastique, au moyen d'un moule interne (1) et d'un moule externe (3). Dans un premier temps, on produit un objet (1) dont la surface interne correspond à la surface interne du corps creux. Ensuite, on relie l'objet de manière étanche à l'air à un moule externe (3) de manière qu'un espace (6) soit formé entre eux. On introduit la matière à mouler dans cet espace (6) et, au moyen d'une technique connue en soi, on fait en sorte que la matière se répand sur la surface externe de l'objet, c'est-à-dire la surface de l'objet en face du moule externe, pendant la rotation de l'ensemble de moulage, et qu'elle se colle à cette surface, tandis que la matière à mouler répandue sur la surface interne du moule externe (3) ne s'y colle pas. Lorsqu'on retire le moule externe (3), on obtient un corps creux possédant une paroi externe de matière moulée et une paroi interne comportant l'objet (1) dont l'extérieur est revêtu de matière moulée. On décrit à la fois le corps creux et le procédé de production.
