Owing to the construction, having a large surface in engagement with the roadway surface 7 and using chain links 10 as the body interconnection means, the speed restriction device remains firmly in position in the longitudinal direction of the road while at the same time it adjusts itself to any surface unevenness in the transverse direction of the roadway.

Abstract

Dispositif de limitation de la vitesse de véhicules routiers comprenant un certain nombre d'éléments à profil reliés entre eux (1), conçus pour être placé sur une chaussée (7) dans la direction transversale de cette dernière. Sur la chaussée (7), chaque élément à profil (1) forme une butte dont la hauteur maximale se situe au niveau de la partie médiane. Lorsqu'un véhicule roule sur ledit dispositif de limitation, une secousse et un bruit sourd surviennent dans le véhicule, incitant le chauffeur à réduire la vitesse.
