Abstract

L'imprimante (100) commutable entre un mode de fonctionnement recto-verso et recto, sur une base page par page, utilise un seul moteur d'impression recto (103). L'impression recto-verso est effectuée par la réinsertion d'une page imprimée recto dans l'entrée du moteur d'impression (103), dans un mode permuté, de sorte que ledit moteur d'impression (103) peut imprimer l'autre face de la page imprimée. Cette imprimante (100) comprend également un appareil commutant de manière dynamique le fonctionnement de ladite imprimante d'un mode de fonctionnement recto-verso à recto, lorsque l'entrée des instructions d'impression à partir du processeur associé indique que l'autre face d'une page imprimée en mode recto est une page vierge. Cet agencement permet audit moteur d'impression (103) d'éjecter la page imprimée en mode recto, directement vers le bac de papier de sortie (105), sans avoir à faire passer à nouveau cette page imprimée en mode recto, dans le moteur d'impression (103), même si aucun caractère n'est à imprimer sur celle-ci.
