These bacteria digest and decompose the ammonia, excreta, excess foodstuff, water contamination etc. in the tank 1, and the water is thereby cleansed. The bacteria are produced naturally in the porous ceramic granules 5 both in freshwater and in sea water.
  • the water in the tank 1 is fed, e. g. by means of a pump (not shown), to a filter 7 via a conduit 6 connected to the bottom of the tank 1, and is returned to the tank 1 after passing through the filter 7.
  • the interior of the filter 7 is filled with porous ceramic granules 8. Bacteria are produced in the granules 8 by the water passing there through, and these bacteria purify the water by digesting and decomposing the ammonia, excreta, excess food and water contamination etc. contained in the water passing through the filter 7.
  • a plurality of holes 9 for regenerative air are provided in the bottom of filter 7. Regenerative air fed into the filter 7 via the holes 9 increase the activity of the bacteria and thereby promote the cleansing action.

  • the oscillators 12 are driven electromagnetically and produce ultrasonic waves directly in the water.

If porous ceramic granules are provided at the bottom of the water and/or a filter filled with porous ceramic granules is provided, the cleansing effect on the water is further increased by the activity of the bacteria produced in the porous ceramic granules.

Abstract

On améliore la qualité de l'eau pour les animaux et les plantes aquatiques en produisant des ultrasons dans l'eau. Ceci peut s'effectuer au moyen d'un dispositif (2) produisant des bulles (4) d'un diamètre de 0,2 - 2,0 mm, les ultrasons se produisant à la fin des bulles (4). Dans une variante, les ultrasons peuvent être produits par un ou plusieurs oscillateurs à ultrasons (12). De préférence, une couche de grains de céramique poreuse (15) est disposée au fond du réservoir (1) pour produire des bactéries de nettoyage. Dans une variante ou en plus, on fait passer l'eau par un filtre (7) contenant des grains de céramique poreuse (8), par lequel est amené, via des trous (9), de l'air régénératif.
