Description
Filtereinsatz mit Sternfilter für einen Feststoff-Filter Filter insert with star filter for a solid matter filter
Filterpapier, aufweist. The invention relates to a filter insert for a solid filter which has a bellows (star filter) made of gas or liquid permeable material, e.g. Filter paper.
When using conventional filter cartridges with star filters, it has been shown that the star filter pleats can be damaged by the action of moisture or mechanical damage when the star filter cartridge is used, as a result of which the filter cartridge no longer functions. The breakthrough of the material to be filtered can then damage the aggregates of the filter apparatus or the solid matter filter. If the filter breaks through, this can also endanger the environment or people if dangerous bulk goods or dust escape to the outside.
The object of the invention is therefore to design a filter insert with a star filter so that damage to one or more star filter folds does not endanger the environment or the operation or function of the filter system is maintained.
This object is achieved by the filter insert according to claim 1. Accordingly, a filter wall or an inner tube is provided in the bellows or in the interior of the star filter, which is surrounded by the star filter and consists of filtering material. This filter tube ensures that if the star filter or one or more folds of the star filter is damaged, a further filtering layer is provided which prevents the material to be filtered from breaking through.
Another advantage of the filter tube is that the bellows (the star filter) is dimensionally stabilized by the filter tube, which plays a role in particular in long fitting operations which are essentially axially stressed and thus tend to buckle the star filter.
With a corresponding dimensional design of the filter tube, it is then also possible to dispense with the grid-like inner tube used in conventional filter inserts, the support tube function of which is then taken over by the filter tube. Star filter and integrated filter tube can consist of different filter materials depending on the application.
Filterpapier, bestehen. However, filter inserts are expediently used in the normal case in which the star filter and filter tube are made of the same material, e.g. Filter paper.
Um zu verhindern, daß die Falten des Sternfilters durch dieIn order to prevent the folds of the star filter by the
If the pressure conditions on the filter collapse or the spaces between the folds are compressed, a filter tube can be used which is structured on the surface or its surface in such a way that the folds of the star filter are supported by bellows. For this purpose, the surface structure of the filter tube can have longitudinal webs which extend into the pockets of the respective folds pointing towards the interior of the star filter in order to support them against collapse. These longitudinal webs preferably have a cross section that essentially fills the pockets of the star filter. The longitudinal webs or ribs can be made of foam, for example. stand, which is foamed onto the outer circumference of the filter tube. Star filter and filter tube can be arranged to each other so that the folds or the indentations between the folds sit with their bottoms on the filter tube in order to achieve an optimal support function of the filter inner tube. The shape stabilization can be further improved, regardless of the bellows on the filter tube is fixed by gluing or sewing or the like.
Darin zeigen:Further advantages, features and possible uses of the present invention result from the following description of exemplary embodiments in conjunction with the drawing. In it show:

Fig. 3 einen Schnitt durch einen im wesentlichen rota¬ tionssymmetrischen Filtereinsatz, der in einer Öffnung einer Halteplatte des Filterapparates mittels Abschlußstücken gehaltert ist.3 shows a section through an essentially rotationally symmetrical filter insert which is held in an opening of a holding plate of the filter apparatus by means of end pieces.
Filterpapier. The filter insert 1 shown in Fig. 1 has a bellows 2 (star filter), the axially extending edges 2.1 and star-shaped successive pockets 6, the side of the pocket flanks 6.1. and 6.2 are limited. A filter tube 3 is arranged axially in the interior 5 of the bellows 2 and is completely enclosed by the bellows 2 in the axial longitudinal direction. The touch Pocket flanks 6.1, 6.2 with their ends pointing in the direction of the interior 5, the surface 7 of the filter tube 3. The bellows 2 and the filter tube 3 consist of the same filter material, for example filter paper.
The filter insert 1.1 according to FIG. 2 differs from the filter insert 1 according to FIG. 1 essentially in that longitudinal webs 4 abutting against one another are applied to the surface 7 of the filter tube 3 and are rib-shaped or lamellar-shaped on the surface 7 in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the filter and have a triangular cross-section (hatched). The longitudinal webs 4 extend into the pockets 6 of the bellows 2 and essentially fill them in order to prevent the pocket flanks 6.1., 6.2 of the respectively associated pocket 6 from collapsing. The longitudinal webs 4 are e.g. made of foam, which is foamed onto the filter tube 3. The foam does not hinder the passage of gas or liquid laden with solids, since this medium can easily pass through the foam due to its open cell structure.
The longitudinal webs can also be part of the filter tube or be designed as a casing of the filter tube.
In the filter inserts according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the bellows 2 can be fixed on the surface of the filter tube 3 by gluing, sewing or the like. That can e.g. B. happen that in places on the outer surface of the bellows 2 adhesive is applied which diffuses through the filter paper of the bellows 2 and forms an adhesive connection with the subsequent filter tube.
Am anderen Ende des Faltenbalgs 2, ist dieser mit einem Endring 12 verbunden, der ebenfalls rotationssymmetrisch zur Symmetrieachse des Faltenbalgs 2 verläuft und innenseitig eine Rastkerbe 13 aufweist.FIG. 3 shows how the filter insert 1 is fastened in the filter apparatus, for example on a metal holding plate 18, which is provided for carrying the filter insert 1. For this purpose there is an opening for the filter insert 1 in the holding plate 18 19 recessed. The cylindrical bellows 2 is connected at one of its ends to a retaining lip 8 as a closing piece, which is essentially ring-shaped in a rotationally symmetrical manner with respect to the axis of symmetry of the bellows 2. The holding lip 8 is provided with an annular circumferential outer notch 10, which is provided on the outside of the holding lip 8, and an inner notch 11, which is formed on the inside on the holding lip 8, that is to say in an annular circumferential manner towards the interior 5 of the filter insert. At the other end of the bellows 2, it is connected to an end ring 12, which likewise runs rotationally symmetrically to the axis of symmetry of the bellows 2 and has a notch 13 on the inside.
Arranged in the interior 5 of the bellows 2 is the filter tube 3, which is fastened or cast in at one end in a spreading part 16 and at the opposite end in a disk 14.
The expansion part 16 is annular, rotationally symmetrical to the axis of symmetry of the bellows 2 and has an outer circumferential expansion ring 17 which engages in the inner notch 11 of the retaining lip 8. Above the expansion ring 17, the expansion part 16 is chamfered to facilitate insertion of the filter tube 3 with the expansion part 16 into the interior 5 of the bellows 2.
The disc 14 has a circumferentially annular projection 15, which is designed so that it fits into the notch 13 of the end ring 12.
When the filter insert is installed, the inserted spreader on the filter tube 3 presses the assigned holding lip 8 outwards, as a result of which the edge of the opening 19 of the holding plate 18 sits in the outer notch 10 of the holding lip 8 and the entire filter insert 1 on the holding plate 18 due to the existing pressure of the expanding part 16 is attached. That with conventional filters metallic support tube used in this construction is superfluous.
The bellows and / or the filter tube 3 can be stepped or cranked so that the filter bellows 2 rests on the filter tube 3.
Das zu filternde Medium A passiert den Faltenblag 2 und anschließend dasA dashed line in FIG. 3 shows a disposal route for the medium to be filtered. The medium A to be filtered passes the pleated sheet 2 and then that
Filter tube 3, solids being retained by the pleated sheet 2 and the filtered medium B leaving the filter to the outside. In the event of damage to one or more folds of the bellows 2, the solids are retained on the surface 7 of the internal filter tube.
The retaining lip 8, the end ring 12, the washer 14 and the expansion part 16 are made of the same material, preferably polyurethane, and are applied to the filter tube 3 or the bellows 2 by a casting process.
Due to the above design of these end pieces and the use of a suitable plastic, the required sealing between the individual end pieces is also given between the medium side and the outside of the filter.
