Abstract
The present invention relates to a method and a device to locate a load carrying member with precision in connection to the casting of a bottom plate for a building. The invention is characterized in that a supporting frame (1) with at least three legs (a-c) being adjustable in height and including a rigid frame (2) is placed over the final location for the sheet; the three legs being adjustable in height are adjusted until the rigid frame is placed exact in the ground plane; that a device (3) allowing adjustment both laterally and in height and provided with at least three horizontal arms (h1-h3) in the one and same level is placed so that said arms will rest upon said rigid frame (2), and that a load carrying sheet, bolt group etc., is releasably attached to said device; that the device allowing adjustment both laterally and in height first is displaced laterally so that an exact location is obtained for the load carrying sheet, whereby an adjustment in height is performed, and that the sheet, by welding, etc., is fixed in e.g. a steel post, and that said sheet is released from the device allowing adjustment both laterally and in height.
Description
A method and a device to locate a load carrying member with precision in connection to the casting of a bottom plate for a buildning
The precent invention relates to a method and a device to locate a load carrying member with precision in connection to the casting of a bottom plate for a buildning.
In casting a bottom plate for a buildning it is desireable that supporting sheets etc. for placing e.g. vertical supporting posts of the superstructure are located at exact predetermined positions as ever possible. To-day there exist no such established and reliable method. After the plate beeing finished the contractor of the buildning frame usually levels the plate once again and thereafter adjusts the length of the vertical supporting posts of the body of the house. This method is time-consuming and involve a possible delay, or at least an essential cost-increase, in delivery of major components necessary for the proceeding of the erection of the superstructure.
The object of the present invention is to obtain a technique which in a simple and reliable way allows an exact location of the load-carrying parts at the bottom plate prior to the finish of said plate.
This is obtained according to the present invention by the characterizing clauses stated in the claims.
By using a supporting frame with at least three legs beeing adjustable in hight and including a rigid frame which in a fast and simple way is possible to place over the final location for the loadcarrying sheet, the bolt-group, etc., and thereafter placing a device onto this frame allowing an adjustment both laterally and in hight, the -method according to the invention is very easy both to learn and to handle in use.
The device admitting adjustment both laterally and in hight is provided with at least three horizontal arms in the one and same plane. The device is placed with the arms beeing supported, whereby the load carrying sheet, bolt-group, etc., beeing realesably connected to said device, is located in an exact final position. - The frame is preferably provided with a level to make the adjustment more easily to perform.
The device admitting an adjustment both laterally and in hight is first displaced laterally so that an exact positioning regarding this coordinate is obtained for the load carrying sheet. Thereafter the adjustment in hight is performed. This is preferably done stepless by the use of a crank-equipped gear mechanism - of the type lift-jack. The sheet or the boltgroup is fixed by jwelding, or the like, in a rigid support and is released from the device admitting adjustment both laterally and in hight.
The invention will now be described in connection to an embodiment shown by way of example in the companying drawings, where

In fig. 1 the supporting frame 1 with the legs a,b och c and the horis.ontal support 2 is shown. As the supporting frame consists of struts d, e and f forming a rigid construktion,
first an adjustment of the supporting frame 2 to the ground plane is done. This is made by adjusting the legs a-c along the supporting frame 2. In doing so a level at the supporting fram 2 is of great assistance. The legs can be adjusted by a simple crank mechanism - of the lifting jack type - or simply by providing the supporting frame with releaseable clamping joints surrounding the legs.
When a ground adjustment of the supporting frame is done, a device 3 with three arms hl,h2 and h3 - see fig. 4 - is placed as shown in fig. 2 .
Of course, any of the arms hi, h2 or h3 can be resting on the strut d. Thus, it is possible to laterally adjust the device 3 anywhere within the area bounded by the struts d - f.
When the lateral coordinate has been adjusted by using conventional leveling technique, an adjustment in hight is also done in a similar way. The crank at the upper part of the hight adjustable member g is activated until the exact position in hight is obtained for the sheet 4 - see fig. 3. There are downward directed attachment means at the sheet 4, e.g. for welding to a rigid support not beeing moved at the subsequent casting, or when working with the reinforcement . When the attachment is performed the sheet is seperated from the device 3. This can be made in such a way that a bolt tap is unscrewed from a tapered hole in the sheet.
Claims
1. A method to locate a loadcarrying member with precision in connection to the casting of a bottomplate for a building, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that
a supporting frame with at least three legs beeing adjustable in hight and including a rigid frame is placed over the final location for the sheet,
the three legs beeing adjustable in hight are adjusted until the rigid frame is placed exact in the ground plane,
that a device allowing adjustment both laterally and in hight and provided with at least three horizontal arms in the one and same level is placed so that said arms will rest upon said rigid frame, and that a load carrying sheet, bolt group etc., is releasably attached to said device,
that the device allowing adjustment both laterally and in hight first is displaced laterally so that an exact location is obtained for the load carrying sheet, whereby an adjust¬ ment in hight is performed, and
that the sheet, by welding, etc., is fixed in e.g. a steel post, and that said sheet is released from the device allowing adjustment both laterally and in hight.
2. A device to locate a loadcarrying member with precision in connection to the casting of a bottom plate for a building, and for performing the method according to claim 1, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in
a supporting frame (1) with at least three legs (a-c) beeing adjustable in hight and including a rigid frame (2) , and a device (3) allowing adjustment both laterally and in hight and provided with en central hight adjustable crank mechanism and at least horizontal arms (hl-h3) in the one and same level.
3. A device according to claim 2, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that a level is provided in connection to said rigid frame (2) .
4. A device according to claim 2 or 3, c h a r a c t e r ¬ i z e d in that the sheet (4) or the bolt group by a screw joint is releasable attached to said device allowing adjust¬ ment both laterally and in hight.
