Abstract

Un tampon absorbant multicouche comporte des fibres cellulosiques, des fibres thermoplastiques et des absorbants chimiques variables. Dans le procédé de fabrication du tampon absorbant, une couche fibreuse homogène continue ou discontinue est formée et au moins un absorbant chimique est ajouté de manière différentielle aux diverses sections. Les couches absorbantes sensiblement en forme de bande (1-5 ou 1-3), qui sont disposées longitudinalement ou transversalement, sont superposées dans une configuration prédéterminée, puis soudées mécaniquement et/ou thermiquement entre elles et/ou aux autres. La première ou la plus haute couche absorbante (1) du tampon absorbant présente une absorptivité inférieure à 30 ml/g, et au moins une des couches absorbantes sous-jacente (2-5) présente une absorptivité égale ou supérieure à 30 ml/g.
