Abstract

L'invention concerne un fourreau (12) pour l'aiguille (13) d'une seringue hypodermique (11), isolant l'aiguille de manière à éviter la contamination et les blessures, notamment après l'utilisation de l'aiguille. Ledit fourreau (12) comprend un corps creux (41) comportant une ouverture (45) à une extrémité, et est mobile par rapport à l'aiguille de la seringue entre une première position dans laquelle l'aiguille de la seringue est entièrement contenue à l'intérieur du corps creux, et une seconde position dans laquelle l'aiguille de la seringue s'étend à travers l'ouverture se trouvant dans le corps creux. De préférence, ledit corps creux comporte une paroi mobile (49) à l'opposé de ladite ouverture, ladite paroi mobile étant adaptée pour supporter l'aiguille de la seringue, une extrémité de l'aiguille étant exposée à l'intérieur du corps creux. Ladite paroi mobile déplace l'aiguille entre lesdites première et seconde positions.
