Abstract

Procédé d'utilisation des caractéristiques de blocage de l'oxygène inhérentes à un revêtement formant écran pour un matériau carbone-carbone consistant à faire pénétrer un inhibiteur d'oxygène dans les fissures et les zones poreuses de revêtement. L'inhibiteur forme un complexe avec les sites actifs du matériau carbone-carbone à la base des fissures. Le système ainsi obtenu permet d'obtenir une protection contre l'oxydation très efficace à des températures intermédiaires d'environ 650°C.
