Abstract

Pour pouvoir, dans un système de télétextes, "feuilleter ultérieurement" les résumés de programmes de plusieurs jours d'expédition sans investir considérablement dans les décodeurs de télétextes côté destinataire, on propose de transmettre sous forme de tableau sur une page de télétexte séparée les numéros de page de la totalité des pages de télétexte dans un cycle de répétition ou dans une partie de ce dernier, et de les mettre en mémoire intermédiaire côté destinataire. Si l'utilisateur a choisi une page précise de télétexe, on vérifie en comparant avec les numéros de page mis en mémoire intermédiaire si le numéro de la page de télétexte souhaitée figure dans le cycle ou dans une partie de celui-ci, sur quoi on recherche ladite page s'il y a lieu. En outre, le décodeur vérifie automatiquement, à partir du numéro de la page de télétext souhaitée, et en comparant à nouveau avec les numéros de page mis en mémoire intermédiaire, si les numéros des pages de télétexte suivantes figurent dans le cycle ou dans une partie de celui-ci, sur quoi on recherche les pages suivantes identifiées comme figurant dans ledit cycle, lesquelles sont mises en mémoire intermédiaire et reproduites sur instruction spéciale de l'utilisateur.
