Abstract
The process comprises: a) a device for evaporating fuels with a pressure and temperature regulated heat exchanger traversed by exhaust gases; b) a device - composed of rotating dosing diaphragms - for the precise metering out, depending on the engine speed and load, of the fuel vapour thus obtained to the cylinder(s) of an engine that can have the following orthodox or new designs: mixture supply by a central tubular intake collector in throttle processes; mixture supply with single cylinder allotment in throttle processes; mixture supply with single cylinder allotment in unthrottled and throttled in stratified charge engines or lean motors; c) a device for introducting the dosed, homogeneous mixture in the intake channels, the cylinder head or the combustion chambers of an Otto engine, thus forming individual load dependent layers sharply separated from each other, composed of a fuel vapour/fresh air mixture and of pure fresh air.
