Abstract
Une antenne portée par un bateau utilise un montage à la cardan pour établir une structure non stabilisée à deux degrés de liberté. Un anneau (22) est monté en rotation sur un radome (14, 15) et porte une antenne (16) montée en rotation par rapport à l'anneau . L'anneau et l'antenne sont entraînés respectivement par des moteurs pas-à-pas (60, 74). Des variations de stabilité dues au tangage, aux embardées ou aux roulis du bateau sont corrigées sur une base de temps réel en utilisant un microprocesseur qui entraîne dynamiquement l'anneau et l'antenne pour maintenir le contact avec un satellite.
