Ainsi que par le P.C.T. PIAT publié le 29.3.1984 sous Nº- W084/As well as by the P.C.T. PIAT published on 29.3.1984 under Nº- W084 /

The present patent aims to improve them, to supplement them and to indicate an industrial embodiment which reduces the bulk, facilitates maintenance and lowers the cost price.
A first development relates to the reconstitution of the water guard at the end of a cycle. In the cited patents, a mechanism is described in which a small reservoir is filled during the cycle in order, by emptying at the end of it, to reconstitute the water guard at its suitable level.
This arrangement has a certain number of drawbacks, in particular of being prone to breakdowns due to the fact that the tank is in the open air during its filling to become leaktight after this filling and that dust can thus to penetrate there then to accumulate there until disturbing the operation of the device. In addition, there is a danger of pollution of the network by the intercommunication between the distributor, the tank and the bowl.
The present arrangement which aims to eliminate these drawbacks will be better understood if reference is made to FIGS. I and II respectively viewed in longitudinal section and seen from above in which a cell (I) is formed inside the bowl (2) thanks to a substantially vertical partition (3), a slot (4) is formed in the upper part of the partition (3) being arranged so that the jet coming out of the ball valve (5), by crushing against the internal part of the wall (3) is divided into two parts, one of which, the upper (6), enters the cell (1). to fill it by crossing the slit (4) while the other, the lower (7) remains in the bowl to raise the level and clean the walls.
The cell (1) also communicates with the bowl (2) through one or possibly several orifices as (8) placed, at the lowest level of the cell. It is through this or these orifices that the cell (1) will empty at the end of the cycle to reconstitute the water guard.
The slot (4) and the hole or holes (8) are calibrated so that the cell (1), in all circumstances, fills faster than it empties and that after filling of the bowl, it has stored an amount of water at least equal to that which is necessary to reconstitute the water guard at a suitable level, possibly regulatory.
In the P.C.T. PIAT Nº WO 84/01178 already cited, there is described a WC device with hydraulic valve incorporated in the end part of the siphon, including the possibility that this end part is disposed both horizontally and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the apparatus.
In this context, the present arrangement specifies the arrangement of the various elements of the siphon with respect to each other and, at the same time, indicates an industrial embodiment of the device going in the direction of great convenience of use. and maintenance, a reduction in size and a lower cost price.
Figures III and IV which are respectively a longitudinal section B and a cross section A show this arrangement and also show various improvements and arrangements which will be described later. The bottom of the bowl (2) has an orifice (9) which is extended by the siphon constituted by a first element (10) placed in the longitudinal axis of the device and going up to its culminating part (11). A second element is connected to it at a right angle, first consisting of a substantially horizontal element (12) extending by a descending loop (13) whose end part (14) is in a substantially horizontal position.
C'est sur cette partie terminale (14) qu'est fixé l'ensemble cl apet (15)/vérin (16).It is on this terminal part (14) that the valve assembly (15) / cylinder (16) is fixed.
We also see that the control distributor (17) which cooperates with the part (11) to ensure the evacuation of air from the siphon is in a substantially horizontal position so that its control rod (18) is maneuvered from the outside on the side of the device. The assembly constituted by the distributor (17), the culminating part (11), the element (12), the loop (13), the terminal part (14) and the valve assembly 05) / jack (16) is arranged in the same vertical plane, that of section A. This arrangement opens the possibility of manufacturing the envelope of this assembly by assembling two molded half-shells comprising the imprints of the various communication conduits which has the advantage Eliminate pipe connections and save a lot of manufacturing manpower.
The same arrangement also opens the possibility of providing, on the upper part of the horizontal element (12), an orifice (19) closed by a removable hatch (20) through which the siphon can be easily opened if necessary. In order to be able to access the siphon to carry out such an operation or to easily replace any element of the mechanism, the upper part (21) of the device is removable which allows total accessibility which also greatly facilitates the initial connection of the 'apparatus.
Another arrangement relates to the air evacuation system in the culminating part of the siphon during the leveling both in the bowl and in the siphon. It relates to a device in which the culminating part (11) of the siphon comprises, at its upper part, a conduit (23) which, through the orifice (24) opens itself into the rear compartment (25) of the dispenser (17). This compartment (25) also communicates with the downcomer (29) via an orifice (27) and a conduit (28). A piston (26), integral with the control rod (18) of the distributor (17) moves inside the compartment (25) in order, alternatively, to close and release the orifice (24). In this latter position, it also releases the orifice (27) to put the culminating part (11) of the siphon into communication with the downcomer (29).
The operation of the device is as follows: To start an operation, the user operates the rod (18) of the dispenser by pulling it outwards which brings it into the position of FIG. IV corresponding to the clearance of the orifices (24 ) and (27). With the rise in level in the siphon, the air pocket which forms in the culminating part (11) is evacuated by the orifice (22), the conduit (23), the orifice (24). the compartment (25), the orifice (27) and the conduit (28) towards the downcomer (29). With the blocking of the ball valve at the desired level corresponding to the complete filling of the siphon, the rod (18) is returned to its initial position, the piston (26) closes the orifice (24) and the siphonic suction can then s '' perform in the best possible conditions because the air is thus prevented from being reintroduced into the siphon.
An additional arrangement relating to the control valve consists of having, inside the compartment (25), a rubber membrane (30) which, integral with the piston (26), moves at the same time as it and ensures a watertight partitioning. between the body of the distributor (17) and the siphon compartment. Thus, in the event that, as a result of any defect, the level rises to the compartment (25), no pollution can be transmitted to the water distribution network. Other arrangements relate to the actuator (160 for controlling the valve (15) as well as to this valve itself.
Figure IV shows the closing phase of the valve (15) which phase occurs immediately after the engagement of a cycle. The figure shows that the jack (16) consists of an outer casing (31) inside which slides a piston (32) itself secured to a rod (33), a front flange ( 34) pierced with a hole (35) through which the rod (33) passes, and a rear flange (36). The rod (33) comprises, on the piston side, a blind recess (37) while the flange (36) carries, directed towards the inside of (16), a fixed tube (38). The assembly is arranged so that the rod (33) can slide freely along the tubing (38) by fitting the latter inside the recess (37). The length of the tubing (38) is established so that at the end of the valve closing phase (15), the rod (33) escapes the tubing (38) to provide, between the end from the latter and the internal face of the piston (32), a space (39) through which, after having closed the valve, the water, continuing to arrive in the cylinder body, is introduced inside the tubing (38) to, through the conduit (40) which extends the tubing (38) outwards, ensure the continuation of the operations of the cycle without there being movement of the control rod (18) of the distributor (17) and maintaining, throughout the duration of the cycle, residual pressure on the piston (32) in order to prevent it from retreating under the pressure of the weight of water filling the siphon.
Figure IT finally shows that the rod (33) which carries at its end the valve (15) is, throughout the closing phase, protected by a bellows (41) housed in the sheath (42) inside which moves the valve (15). Thus reputed, polluting materials which could have been introduced into the sheath (42) cannot contaminate the rod (33) which, in the open position, comes to be placed inside the body of the jack (16) , itself in communication with the network.
Finally, an orifice (43) formed in the front flange (34) of the jack (16) but opening out of the latter, allows the air located inside the bellows to escape. of the valve opening.
