Description

S t i f t s c h l o ß S t i f t s c h l o ß
The invention relates to a pin lock with a cylinder which can be rotated in a bore of a housing and which has a number of radial bores which lie in a radial plane of the cylinder and which on the one hand open into a key channel and on the other end at the circumference of the cylinder, a number of Bores in the housing, which each form an extension of the bores in the cylinder in an angular position of the cylinder, a slide pin in each bore of the cylinder and a slide pin in each bore of the housing, which is pressed in the direction of the cylinder by a spring The length of the pins is such that when a coded key is inserted into the key channel in the angular position mentioned, the contact surfaces of the cylinder pins and the corresponding housing pins are located in the outer surface of the cylinder. Known locks of this type offer a high level of security, but are still relatively vulnerable when attempting to open them with a lock pick. One of these opening methods is to lift the pins against the action of the return springs with the help of suitable instruments and to turn the cylinder slightly. As a result, the housing pins are clamped in the housing and the cylinder pins can move freely.
The invention has for its object to eliminate this disadvantage of known locks.
According to the invention this object is achieved in a pin lock of the type mentioned in that at least certain pins of the cylinder have an enlarged head at their outer end.
Dank dieses Merkmals hat der Zylinder ein größeres .Dreh¬ spiel, wenn die Stifte angehoben werden, so daß der Kopf der Zylinderstifte in das Gehäuse eindringt, der übrigeThanks to this feature, the cylinder has a greater rotational play when the pins are raised so that the head of the cylinder pins penetrates the housing and the rest
But part remains in the cylinder, which prevents the cylinder from rotating freely.
Es zeigen:The invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawings. Show it:

Die Bohrungen 5 enden ferner am Umfang des Zylinders 3.The lock consists of a housing 1 with a cylindrical bore 2, in which a cylinder 3 is rotatably arranged. The cylinder 3 has an elongated key channel 4, into which radial bores 5 open, all of which lie in a radial plane of the cylinder 3. The bores 5 also end at the circumference of the cylinder 3.
The housing 1 has a number of bores 6 which are each aligned with the bores 5 in an angular position of the cylinder (shown in FIGS. 1 to 4).
In each of the pairs of bores 5, 6, a pair of pins + is accommodated, which consists of a cylindrical pin 7 and a housing pin 8 and which consists of a spring 9, which is arranged between the bottom of the bore 6 and the pin 8, in Direction on the key channel 4 is pressed.
Wenn der Bart der Schloß- kombination entspricht, die durch die Länge der Stifte 7In the locking position shown in the drawing and in the absence of a key, the cylinder pins 7 are pressed by the springs 9 against the bottom of the cylinder bore 5 at the mouth of the cylinder channel 4. The housing pins 8 have partially penetrated into the bores 5 of the cylinder, as a result of which the lock is locked. When a key with a beard (not shown) is inserted, the pairs of pins 7, 8 are raised against the force of the spring 9. If the beard corresponds to the lock combination, which is determined by the length of the pins 7
+ (Zuhaltungen)+ (Tumblers)
Das Schloß ist nun entsperrt, und der Zylinder 3 kann in dem Gehäuse 1 frei gedreht werden.OMPI is determined, the contact zone between each pin 7 and 8 comes exactly into the plane of the lateral surface of the cylinder 3. The lock is now unlocked and the cylinder 3 can be freely rotated in the housing 1.
According to the invention, at least certain cylindrical pins have an enlarged head 10 at their outer end. In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the head 10 is formed by parting off, a second head 11 having the same diameter as the head 10 being formed at the inner end. The part 12 of the pin 7 between the heads 10 and 11 has a smaller diameter, and the heads 10, 11 guide the pin in the bore 5.
The head 10 is expediently connected to the part 12 by a bevel of approximately 45 °. In addition, the height of the head 10 is smaller than the gradation of the beard of the lock, so that at the next higher level the head 10 is completely outside the cylinder 3.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, all cylindrical pins 7 have an outer head 10 and an inner head 11. The housing pins have the same shape with an inner head 13, an outer head 14 and an intermediate zone 15 with a smaller diameter.
In the variant shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, certain housing pins 8 'and certain cylindrical pins 7' do not have heads 13 or 10. In the cylindrical pins 1 which have a head 10, the height of the intermediate zone 12 'is small ner, so that the inner heads 11 are replaced by an extended zone 11 ', the diameter of which is equal to that of the head 10. Certain housing pins 8 can have the same shape.
The higher security of the lock achieved by the invention will now be explained with reference to FIG. 5.
By inserting a suitable instrument (not shown), a burglar pushes the entire pair of pins 7, 8 upward against the force of the springs 9 and then rotates the cylinder 3 in the direction of arrow F. This possible rotation, which in the case of known locks is limited to their play, is greater in the lock according to the invention, because the zone 12 or 12 'with reduced diameter of the cylinder pins 7 is located in the jacket plane of the cylinder 3. The pins 7 tilt and the connecting shoulder 16 on the head 11 (or the zone 11 ') lies against the opening of the corresponding bore 6, as a result of which a pinch occurs. If the burglar slightly reduces the pressure in the direction of arrow F, the head 10, thanks to its 45 ° bevel, engages under the force of the spring 9 against the opening of the bore 6 and the pin 7 cannot slide any further downwards. The effect of the heads 13 on the housing pins 8 is similar.
