Abstract
The protection device against explosions in underground works is comprised of one or a plurality of containers containing extinction material which are made of a flexible material tight to the extinction material and complying with the regulations. The containers are optimally adapted in size and shape to the proportions of the underground locals and are arranged on supporting frameworks or in suspended nets, or they hang from cables. The release of the extinction material, for example water, incombustible mineral powder or dust, takes place in the case of an explosion by the destruction of the containers under the direct action of the pressure and/or the heat wave, or by the pressure and/or by radiation detectors which detonate explosive charges and/or by appropriate mechanical devices.
Description
Einrichtung zum untertägigen Explosionsschütz Device for underground explosion protection
The invention relates to a device for underground explosion protection in the form of one or more extinguishing agents and these extinguishing agents in the event of an explosion releasing container (s).
In underground mining and tunneling, it is customary to provide extinguishing agents in suitable places in the underground cavities, for example in sections of underground mining, in order to protect against the spread of the consequences of an explosion - in particular the explosion flames and fires caused thereby they are distributed by the explosion itself over the cross-section of the corresponding cavity and thereby prevent the spread of explosion flames and subsequent fires into further underground rooms. The most widespread are the water trough and rock dust barriers, whereby open-to the top - mostly trough-shaped - vessels are filled with the extinguishing agents listed and are placed in metastable equilibrium on a scaffold, which is mostly in the upper part of the underground cavity, e.g. under the Line top of an underground mining line is installed. In the event of an explosion, the pressure wave either tilts them out of their metastable equilibrium position or destroys them and in the process distributes the extinguishing agent previously stored in a locally defined manner over the cross-section of the cavity. The corresponding effect also achieve the hitherto less widespread release locks, which consist of pressure tanks filled with extinguishing agent or the water trough locks described above, but which are triggered via an explosion flame detector with downstream explosive devices to release the extinguishing agent.
The disadvantage of the arrangements described above is due to the fact that it is generally rigid and space-consuming structures that allow only a little variation in the adaptation to the spatial conditions in underground cavities and dabsi with other necessary technical installations such as Pipelines, belt conveyors, railways, etc. must compete.
The present invention has therefore set itself the task of the known effectiveness of previously used explosion barriers with a spatially much more variable provision of all possible extinguishing agents, such as, for. B. to combine water or rock dust.
The invention achieves this object in that each container used for extinguishing agent storage consists of flexible, extinguishing agent-tight and officially approved material and the respective spatial dimensions, both in terms of its shape and size as well as its local location in the explosion-free normal state Conditions in underground caves of mining and tunneling can be optimally adjusted.
The particular advantage of this invention is that the variable design options of the containers according to the invention - for example sack-shaped (), sausage-shaped (2) or tubular (3), the containers being able to be subdivided into individual bulkheads by means of intermediate walls which are impermeable to extinguishing agent desired size also a extinguishing agent supply allowed in such places in underground cavities where the loading of rigid containers is difficult or impossible to carry out, even though these places are not used by normal underground operations. This applies, for example, to gaps between technical installations in underground mining lines such as B. pipelines, belt conveyors, railways and expansion profiles that are outside the normal range of movement of people or machines.
Furthermore, it is advantageous that the extinguishing agent containers made of flexible material do not have to be deposited on a rigid scaffold, but instead are instead individually suspended (1, 2, 3) or in one, for example on one or more rope (s) one or more ropes (s) of individually suspended net (4) can be kept in front, which further increases the possibilities of adapting to the given spatial conditions in the underground cavity.
The material for producing the extinguishing agent container is selected such that it has sufficient strength to enclose the extinguishing agent in the undisturbed hanging state of the container, but tears when a pressure wave occurs. It can also be chosen so that it is primarily destroyed only at an incorporated predetermined breaking point in the event of an incident pressure wave. Another possibility is the use of material which remains undamaged even when a pressure wave occurs if the extinguishing agent container is coupled in this case to a pressure and / or radiation detector with a downstream explosive device or mechanical device for releasing the extinguishing agent.
In connection with the various possibilities of fastening the extinguishing agent containers in underground cavities mentioned above, this selection of materials results in a further variation of adaptation to the respective spatial conditions.
