Abstract
The coating for ferrous or non ferrous supports is comprised of a first layer of sprayed lacquer which carries a second layer consisting of a coating which may be diluted in water. It is not required to make the lacquer layer rough or to treat it otherwise before applying the second layer. While the sprayed lacquer layer must provide a perfect protection against corrosion, the second layer to which a coarsely modeled surface may be provided by means of a profile roller, may be used for decorative purposes or have a mechanical protection function. The weather resistant coating obtained shows a good adherence, alone as well as on the support.

Die erfindungsgemäße Verbundbeschichtung mit den kennzeichnenden Merkmalen des Hauptanspruchs hat demgegenüber den Vorteil, daß sich mit ihr Substrate jeder Form ohne Schwierigkeiten beschichten lassen, wobei die Eaftung der Strukturbeschichung auf der Pulverlackschicht Überraschenderveise so gut ist, daß die mit dieser Verbunebeschichtung versehenen Teil auch nach langen Witterungstest völlig unverändert bleiben. Dabei übernimm: die Pulveriackschicht vornehmlich den Korrosionsschutz, vährend die Strukturbeschichtung außer einem gegebenenfalls gewünschten Dekorationseffekt auch eine mechanische Schutzfunktion übernimmt, da die Schicht elastisch bleibt und daher Stöße oder sonstige mechanische Einwirkungen abfängt. Auch lassen sich, falls notwendig, Reparaturen sehr leicht ausführen, da die Strukturbeschichtung nicht nur auf der Pulverlackschicht sehr gut haftet, sondern auch auf der bereits getrockneten Strukturbeschichtung. Beim Auftrag durch Spritzen verwendet man vorteilhaft eine Düse von ca. 4 mm bei einem Druck von 3 bis 4 bar. Die Dicke, der Schicht liegt bei 2 bis 2,5 mm. Nach den Aufbringen wird die Schicht dann zur Irzielung einer Grobstruktur mit einer entsprechenden Profilrolle überrollt. Der Auftrag erfolgt bei ca. 20° C. Die Trocknung kann ebenfalls bei dieser Temperatur erfolgen, wozu etwa 24 Stunden notwendig sind. Im Bedarfsfalle kann die Trocknung aber auch bei 50 bis 170º C erfolgen und dauert dann nur 10 bzw. 3 Minuten.
