Abstract

Un foret rotatif comprenant au moins une fraise a rouleau (12) montee de maniere rotative est pourvu d'un joint d'etancheite (18), qui separe les espaces de paliers d'un palier anterieur (14) et d'un palier a rouleau posterieur (16). Afin d'assurer un nettoyage efficace de l'espace de palier du palier posterieur (16) un fluide de chasse est fourni a la partie anterieure de la course de celui-ci. Afin de reduire ulterieurement le risque d'une penetration d'impuretes dans le systeme de palier au travers de l'ecartement (20) entre la fraise a rouleau 912) et le corps du foret (10), un joint d'etancheite (29) possedant une fonction de soupape de controle peut etre monte dans l'ecartement (20).
