  • the absorption device is designed so that leakage of urine is avoided. Direct engage ⁇ ment of the diaper against the body is also prevented. The feeling of freedom from incontinence is thereby substantial ⁇ ly improved for the wearer.
  • the device is easy to change, i.e. take off and put on. This is an important advantage especially for elderly people. Due to the sealing engagement between the holder and the wearer, the risk of embarrassing smells is reduced.

Abstract

Un dispositif absorbant l'urine, pour les personnes souffrant d'incontinence, comprend un support (1) utilisable plusieurs fois et une garniture (2) placee dans le support (1). Le support (1) consiste en une partie interne perforee (3) faite d'un materiau mince et flexible et en une partie externe (7) egalement en un materiau mince et flexible. La partie interne (3) presente une forme incurvee qui s'adapte a la forme du corps de l'utilisateur et comprend une zone (4) qui s'evase vers le haut par rapport au corps de l'utilisateur et une zone (5) dont la largeur diminue progressivement vers le bas. Un renfort exterieur (6) en un materiau flexible maintient une forme incurvee grace a la stabilite mecanique du materiau. La partie exterieure (7) presente une forme sensiblement identique a celle de la partie interne (3) et s'attache a la zone (5) de la partie interne. La partie externe (7) presente egalement un renfort exterieur (8). L'extension de la garniture (2) correspond a celle de la partie interne (3) du support (1) et cette garniture comprend une partie centrale absorbante enveloppee dans un materiau permeable aux liquides. La partie interne (3) peut avoir la forme d'un triangle equilateral et peut presenter une extension rectangulaire.
