Abstract

Se divulga un método para aumentar la resistencia a la tensión inicial de la pasta, donde la pasta es pasta química y se proporciona como una suspensión. El método comprende al menos uno de: a) agregar un derivado de carboxilo de celulosa a la suspensión de pasta en condiciones alcalinas, donde el derivado de carboxilo de celulosa tiene un grado de sustitución (DS) mayor que 0,5; b) agregar un derivado de carboxilo de celulosa a la suspensión de pasta de modo que la carga de fibra de la pasta alcance un valor predeterminado.
