Abstract

Esta invención se refiere a un nuevo producto farmacéutico, a un procedimiento para la preparación del producto farmacéutico y al uso del producto en medicina. El producto de la invención es el Hidrocloruro de N-(3-((2-(3,4-dimetoxifenil)etil)amino)propil)-4-nitrobenzamida hidratado, caracterizado porque: (i) contiene agua en la proporción de 1,7 a 2,4 equivalentes molares; y/o (ii) tiene un punto de fusión superior a 145s C; y/o (iii) da un espectro infrarrojo que contiene picos a 3510, 3342, 3076, 1665, 1598, 1343, 1330, 1216 y 801cm-1; y/o (iv) da un espectro de resonancia magnética nuclear en estado sólido que contiene desplazamientos químicos; y/o (v) da un patrón de difracción en polvo de rayos x (XPRD). Este compuesto o sus sales farmacéuticamente aceptables y/o uno de sus solvatos farmacéuticamente aceptables se utilizan en el tratamiento o profilaxis de arritmias y los trastornos isquémicos del ritmo.
