Abstract

Se proporciona un método para la preparación de microesferas y su secado en un lecho fluidificado, conjuntamente con una composición que comprende microesferas secadas por ese método. Las microesferas pueden encapsular cualquier clase de agente activo, tal como un antígeno, adyuvante, péptido, polipéptido, hormona, antibiótico y similares. Es un método para en capsular un agente activo en microesferas, que comprende: 1- disolver un polímero en un solvente orgánico para producir una solución; 2- agregar agente activo a la solución de (1) para producir una mezcla de polímero-agente activo que comprende una primera emulsión o suspensión; 3- agregar la mezcla de la etapa (2) a un baño de emulsificación para producir microesferas que comprende una segunda emulsión; 4- endurecer las microesferas de la etapa (3) para producir microesferas endurecidas que comprende agente activo encapsulado; 5- secar las microesferas de la etapa (4) en un lecho fluidificado.
