The presentinvention relates to anew Variety of :hybrid tea rose plant which was produced in a garden at Montebello,` California, as the result of a cross between the Varieties Mauna Loa. (unpatented) and .Queen Mary (Plant Patent No. 249).v `Asexualreproduction of this Variety in these sameA gardens by means of budding has I f shown its characteristics to be permanent.

This is o-ne of the most fragrantof pink roses yet developed. It is very .prolific in its production of flowers and sometime four or live flowers break out in one truss. Lac' of burning in very ,hotsun is a notable feature. Grown in the fields with many other varieties of a similar color, this variety alone showed no sign of burning on a recent morningV with temperature high in the nineties.

well-proportioned growth; its resistance to burning in hot sun; its habit of breaking -to thef last eye thus enabling it to become a very proline bloomer; its occasional truss formation of fouror five flowers; and its rose colored iiowers with heavywaxlike pet/als and abundant fragrance. n.
