DESIGN FOR AN ORGAN-CASE.

Be it known that I, JOHN R. LOMAS, of New Haven, in the county of' New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for Reed-Organ Case; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, and the letters of reference marked thereon, to he a full, clear, and exactdescription of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this speci tication, and represent a. perspective View.'
This invention relates to a design for the case of rend-organs; and it consists in the peculiar configuration of the case, as hereinafter described, and shown in the accompanying illustration.
The buttresses a have their fronts polygonal in outline7 and that portion a. of the case innnediately above the huttresses and adjacent to the ends of the key-board conforms thereto, and partly repeats the saine ontiine, as shown. Each side of the book-rack b is an inclined panel, o, on which is a. corbel-shaped bracket, d. The book rack has a central raised ornament, and at cach corner of the rack there is a raised angular block forming aborder around the ornament, all as shown in the accompanying illustration.
I claiml. The design for reed-organ case, composed ot' the polygonal huttresses e and the outer angles ot' the key-hoard a', corresponding therewith, all as described, and shown in the accompanying illustra-tion.
2. The design for reed-organ case,forn1cd by the panel c c each side of the book-rack, and the brackets d d thereon, as described, and shown in the accompanying illustration.
3. The design for reed-organ case formed by the panel c c and the book-rack b, having the raised central ornament and the raised anglepieces, as described, and shown in the accompanying illustration.
