To all ywhom it may concern Be it known that I, GEORGE F. MEACILUI, of Newton, in the county ci' Middlesex and State et' Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for the Casingl ot' a SotlaVatt-r Apparatue, of' which the following is a full, elear, and exact descrip tion, reference being,` had to the accompanying photograph making part et' this ASptelicatien.
ln the photograph7 A represents the easing;` of a soda-water apparatus, which is et' rcetan gular form, the top b being flat. A Series et' ornamental openings are eut entirely through the sides ofthe outer shell of the easing;` A, so as to expose to view the inner shell of the easing, which is composed of di'erent-eolored marble. So as to ferm a contrast; and within each of these openings` is placed a tablet, (I, which is secured to the inner shell ofthe easing, the marble of which the tablet is composed heilig et' different eolor to that of either the inner 0r outer shell ofthe easing', three difl'erent eolors being`- thus presented to view, and a series ot1 panels, l, et' beautiful amie'aranee are thus produced, which render the apparatus exceedingly ornamental. On each side ci' the upper portion ot' each panel is an aperture.
