Be it known that I, ELEMIR J. NE Y, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to be Inwrought into Ingrain and other Oarpetings, in colors similar to those painted on the drawing or photograph accompanying this specification, or in other colors substituted in the place of those painted on the drawing or photograph herewith; and I do hereby declare that the drawing accompanying this specification does give and con Vey to any one skilled in the art of carpetweaving a dened and thorough description of thenatlue of my invention, and is snicient to enable any one skilled in the art of carpetweaving to use my invention.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The configuration of the design hereunto an nexed, when applied to carpeting in the form similar to the drawing or photograph accom panying this specification.
