DESIGN FOR A WATCH-CASE.
Specification forming part of Design No. 6,252, dated December 10, 1872.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOHN G. DUEBER, of Cincinnati, Hamilton county, Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Watch-Case, of which the following is a specification:
The nature of my design is fully represented in the accompanying illustration, to which reference is made, and in which- Figure 1 is a front elevation of awatchcase embodying my design, and Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the same.
The first part of my invention relates to that portion of the case known as the center, which, instead of being provided with beads or ribs where the two hinged members meet, has the represented uniform convex surface, as shown at A, so as to present a bassine finish. The second part of my invention consists in providing the bezel B with knurls Claims.
I claim as my invention- 1. The knurls b and 0 upon the bezel and back, respectively, as shown.
2. The design for the head of the pendant, as shown at D.
