DESIGN FOR A BUTTON.

To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, JOHN S. MONAGHAN,

a citizen of the United States,*and a resident .)f the city of Rochester, county of Monroe, and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for Buttons, of which the following is a specification.

My design is represented in the accompanying drawing, in which;

Figure 1 is a plan view of a button showing my new design. Fig. 2 is a side elevation.

The button is circular in shape having a cylindrical side and the upper surface of the button is provided with two concentric circular projections, the central projection has a curved surface and extends in a plane above the planes of the surfaces of the other Specification for Design.

portions of the upper face of the button. Surrounding the central projection is a air cular portion which also has a curved surface as shown. The remaining face of the button is fiat. The outer surface of the face is solid color, the central projection is mottled and the concentric ring surrounding the central projection is of solid color.

The ornamental design for a button substantially as shown and described.
