Patented June 20, 1916.
Application filed March 28, 1916. Serial No. 87,372. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, RUDOLPH SIEBERT, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the city of Rochester, Monroe county, State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for Buttons, of which the following is a specification.
My design is represented in the accompanying drawing in which:
Figure l is a plan View. Fig. 2 is an end view. Fig. 3 is a vertical section taken through the minor axis of Fig. 1.
The button is circular in shape; the central portion of the upper surface of the button is concave, the said concave surface being elliptical in shape, the portion of the upper surface between the periphery and the central concave portion being smooth and arranged in planes intersecting each other at an angle. This latter described portion of the upper surface is provided with lines of contrasting colors, the lines on each side of the upper surface of the button being parallel with each other and the lines on one side being drawn at an angle to the lines on the other side. The surface of the concave portion is roughened by lines extending at right angles to each other from the axes of the ellipse.
I claim:
The ornamental design for a button substantially as shown and described.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand at Rochester, in the county of Monroe and State of New York, this 24th day of March, 1916.
