DESIGN FOR A FIRE-PLACE HEATER.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.
To all whom Iit may concern:
Be it known that l, ELISHA S. HEATH, of the city of' Baltimore, and State of Maryland, have produced n. new and original Design of :L Self-Feeding Fire-Place Stove; and I hereby decl-.tre till-.it the following is a. full and exact description of the saine.
A lower cylinder, made oieast-iron, ornnmented with double Gothic windows, of German and 1 `renelrstyle an improvement of design patented December 1, 1863.
An upper cylinder, sui-mounted with e cast-iron ornamental plate-helmetshaped. This plate is :tttnched to the front side ofthe upper cylinder, and oontains n door, inserted for supplying coal, which is represented on photograph by letter C, and extending to let ter D.
Attached to this upper oylinderis n cest-iron hopper 01' tube, extending from the line of this helmet-plete to within two inches of line of fire-bricks.
This hopper or tube is supported by the hack line oi' fire-bricks, which is made, on its bock purr, of elongated shape.
I claim the ornamental figures and fol-uns represented in and by the accompanying drawing or photograph, the whole forming an orlmn'xentnl design for n. self-feeding lire-place stove.
