To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, CHARLES Osnomrn, of Brooklyn, oi' the county of Kings, and State of New York, have invented :L new and originari Design for Spoons zuid Forks; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, elem', and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the nrt to ineke rind use the suine, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this speoiticntion.
This invention relates to e new ornznnentnl design for the handles of spoons :md forks, such :is are mede of metal and struck np in dies.
Figure l represents the obverse face, and
Figure 2, the reverse face of n spoon, the handle of which is shaped according to my new design, which consists of the flanges a, raised from the surface on both sides at the edge, and arch-shaped at the top, the columns or ribs b resting on the capitol c, and supporting other enpitnls, (l, snrinonnted by plaines e, with borders arch-shaped :it the top, l.md the keystone f, common to both arches.
Hoving thus described my invention, l clniln ns new, und desire to soenrc by Letters Patent- The design for the handles of' spoons and forks, herein set forth :nid shown.
