SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 36,245, dated March 1'7, 1903.
Application filed February 7, 1903. Serial No. 142,418. Term of patent 3% years.
To [0% whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, SIDNEY O. BIGNEY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Attleboro, in the county of Bristol and State of Massachusetts, have invented a certain new, original, and ornamental Design for the Back of a Brush or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification.
The drawing is a plan view of a brush or mirror back embodying my new desigmwherein A represents the body portion, 0 the handie, and B an intermediate swelled portion.
The leading or material feature of my design is as follows: The body ornamentation comprises an irregular marginal beading a, whose'i'nner margin is broken at the top by horses with riders mounted thereon accompanied by dogs. Extending axially along the face of the handle is an unornamented strip 0, flanked by a deep-curved beading d on either side. The handle terminates with circular ornament 6.
It is obvious that my new design is applicable to mirror-backs and similar articles.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The ornamental design for brush, or similar article.
