SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,436, dated December 10, 1901.

Application filed November 16, 1901. Serial No. 82,596- Term of patent 14 years.

Be it known that I, JOSEPH K. S1EEER,a citi zen of the United States,residing at New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Tiles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.

In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a plan view of a tile, showing my'design; and Fig. 2 is a perspective View of said tile.

As shown in the drawings, the leading or material features of my invention consist of tongues A and A and recesses B and B, shaped and disposed or arranged substantially as shown in the drawings. The tongues A are of a right-angled hook shape, while the recesses B are of an exactly similar shape. The tongues A are somewhat of a hook shape, the shape difiering slightly from that of the my name in the presence of the subscribing witnesses.
