DESIGN FOR A FACE-PLATE FOR SCALES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,378, dated December 3, 1901.
Application filed October 30, 1899. Serial No. 735,318. Tenn of patent 3- years.
.Zo all whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, ORANGE O. OZIAs and IRA O. KOEHNE, citizens of the United States, residing in Dayton, in the county of Mont- 5 gomery and State of Ohio, have produced a new and original Design for a Face-Plate for Scales, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof, in which like numerals refer to like parts.
In the drawings, Figure 1 represents a front elevation of a face-plate for scales embody.- ing our invention and design, and Fig. 2 is a sectional view thereof on line X X of Fig. 1.
The leading or essential feature of our design consists of a face-plate having a relatively Wide opening therethrough, one edge of which opening is in the arc of a circle, and from near the center of the opposite edge of said opening projects a relatively long indicating-hand substantially across said opening.
In said drawings, 10 represents said circlilarindicator face-plate for scales; 11, the rela tively wide opening therethrough; 12, the edge of said opening in the arc of a circle and 14 represents said relatively long indieating-hand projecting from near the center of the opposite edge of said opening 11 and substantially across said opening 11.
15 represents a relatively small opening through the center of said face-plate.
What We claim is The design for a face-plate for scales, sub stantially as shown and described.
