DESIGN FOR A MUSIC-RACK.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,824, dated July 23, 1901.

Application led .Tune 20. 1901. Serial No. 65,359. Term of patent 7 years.

To all whom z't my concern:

Be it known that I, WILLIAM A. DENNER- LINE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Aurora, in the county of Dearborn and State of Indiana, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Music-Rack; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.

This invention has relation to a design of unique and novel outline for a music-rack, as `shown in the accompanying drawing, which is a perspective view thereof.

The essential feature of the design consists of uprghts having bracket-shaped feet at their lower ends and corresponding incurves in their edges near their upper and lower ends and having the edges intermediate the in curves slightly swelled from a medial point., top, bottom, and middle shelves, each of oblong and rectangular form, a. drawer below the top shelf and having its front coming between the upper forward portions of the uprights, and a music-cabinet below the middle shelf and spaced from the bottom shelf, the front being about in the plane of the front edges of the shelves and the forward edges of the uprights and of rectangular form, the fronts of the drawer and music-cabinet forming panels.

The uprights 1 are oblong and have correspending incurves 2 and 3 in their opposite edges near their upper and lower ends and have inverted-heart-shaped openings 4 in line with the incurves 2 and pendent ornaments 5. Feet 6 at the lower ends of the uprights are of bracket form, the outer edges being downwardly diverged and the inner edges of ogee form. The top shelf 7, middle shelf S, and bottom shelf 9 are oblong and reet-angular and, with the uprighls, inelose spaces of rectangular outline in elevation. A drawer arranged beneath the top shelf 7 has its front l0 long and narrow and touching the inner sides of the uprights at its ends and the bottom side of the shelf 7 at its upper edge. The music-cabinet immediately below the middle shelf S has its front l1 of quadrangular shape and, like the front l0, forms a panel.

Having thus described the invention, what is claimed as new is- 'lhe design for a music-rack, substantially as herein shown and described.
